I don't know why, but his spot last night seemed a little too scripted. He just seemed off. I like him a lot better when he's doing stuff like that in the ring (like two weeks ago when he came back) or backstage when he's talking smack to someone's face.

I thought it was intense, but a little off.

I think he's a lot better when he's actually feeding off of the people. Of course, then it's 20 minutes instead of 10, but it's a fun 20 minutes.

This.
It's when he's at his best, and most entertaining. He needs other actors there and needs to be "in" the scene (which is why I think some of his better movies were actually sorta the kids movies vs the "action" movies because they were so green screened or he was the highest billed character and never had decent actors around him for him to act up to)

another promo by the Rock where for the third time he destroyed John Cena. Last month of wwe has been better than last 7 years.

Dang. I missed it again. I miss Rock vs Stone Cold Steve Austin. Austin 3:16, while a bit irreverent, was still one of the best WWE bits. Rock vs HHH was a PPV staple for several years.

It will be on YouTube no later than tomorrow morning, and maybe already.

Come to think of it, it's already there:

I think this set up Wrestlemania for Rock to take out Cena during the match so that Miz retains the title.

The Miz is good at being the smarmy bad guy. I laughed when he came to the ring as the Rock and Cena was having their endless verbal battle and was like "Really?" He's come a ways from doing Real World/Road Rules challenges on MTV

It was classic to see the People's Elbow

Where they love the governor
Just happened to flip to it right when the Undertaker and HHH were facing each other down in the ring. Shawn Michaels was a nice surprise!

Unrelated note, are they still doing that stupid "anonymous RAW general manager" crap? That bit needs to DIAF if they're still using it.

I believe that they guaranteed the Rock to be back after Wrestlemania.

Count me as amazed if that happens.

You've got a secure niche carved out in Hollywood and you're going to walk away from it for 50 weeks a year of, "Finally, The Rock has come back to Walla Walla".

As The Miz would say, "Really?".

Yes, still doing the GM bit. Annoying as ever, but still not as annoying as Vickie Guerrero on Smackdown as acting GM!

Really liking Miz as champ, would like to see him retain the belt as it helps his character out in terms of being a main-eventer, and seeing Cena with it is just boring anymore. Would love to see Rock stick around after WM and set-up an HHH/Rock Summerslam match.

Miz is doing a great job. I think he understands the business. There are guys out there that just don't get it. Think it's about wrestling and it's not. It was about wrestling way way back. Miz has the ability to make people mad at him. That is his job.
The Rock is spot on as always and Cena is turning heal right now and going about it a new way that I have never seen as a heal turn. He basically was forced into turning heal when Rock tore him a new one. Consider me impressed by the whole set up. I quit watching a few years ago but the last month I am back in. I am just catching up on other story line. Oh yeah Trish Stratus is way way hotter now than she has ever been.

She looks noticeably thinner

Gonna have to disagree with you there. (at least based of what I just saw off youtube) it looks like they're having Cena do a heel turn right now by having him have a feud with the Rock, and since I don't think anyone thinks that the Rock will be along for the long run (unless he becomes the new RAW GM) my bet is that Cena ends that somehow. Sorta making him the "legend killer" like what they did with Randy Orton a while back.
Point? Right now I don't think it's as "new" as it seems, as I don't trust the writers. That said: I still get a bit of an adrenaline rush...so at least it's still entertaining.

I should have been clearer. I'm not saying that he'll be back full-time, but that he'll be back in some role. Probably sometimes on satellite, sometimes in person, mostly centered around the bigger events.

But touche, you've got me on a really unclear point. I blew that one.
