The Office last night...

Did anybody else find the whole garbage dump scene a little odd? Was that on purpose? The camera angles were odd, and the backdrop was even "odder". I was sitting there wondering, well, I just don't know. That was just an odd episode overall, and not my favorite...

This was my first thought too. Srsly?? The Office was made for DVR. March Madness is NOT.

I do have DVR, and the Office is on at 9 here. The New Mexico game was all but over around 9:45 and so I watched the Office then. But neither of you really addressed my concerns. :wink:

That show is still on? I stopped watching a couple of years ago when they couldn't stop making a soap opera out of the Jim-Pam thing.

Spent way too much time at the dump. Reminded me of 90's era car scenes when you see the background outside the car.

I watched on DVR. I agree with you that the garbage dump scene was very odd. Maybe it was a green screen background? Sort of the "uncanny valley" effect: close enough to the real thing where it isn't obviously fake, but still slightly off...:skeptical:

Dwight's character has been strange as of late. Hopefully he gets back to being Michael's little ***** like he was when the show started.

You could tell how far the "dump" went back towards the green screen. The local dump must have been covered in snow, or where do they actually film The Office?

Edit: They film in L.A. Steve Carrell probably didn't want to film in a LA dump, which is probably a barge.

and btw: it seems like maybe they are trying to slowly turn the cast back into how they were in the first 3 or 4 seasons when it was the best show on t.v.
