Shaggy Bevo / Texas drama brought down Land Thieves (OU board) as well. Land Thieves was hosted on the Shaggy servers that just got shut down in the lawsuit over Shaggy site ownership. Very strange bed-fellows...

Does the guy that brought the lawsuit and eventually won really think business will go on as usual on that site? Seems like a lot of money and effort when essentially he killed the site he wanted sole ownership of. I would think Shaggy has very little value going forward.

Yeah, it's pretty much been abandoned and replaced with Surly Horns. It seems he had a very poor grasp of the site for someone who spent that much time and effort to control it.

It’s been entertaining to watch if nothing else. SurlyHorns appears to be in full swing and it’s interesting to watch as they build a new site with feedback from users in real time. It’s hilarious to see that the Shaggy ownership thread has evolved into people copying and pasting the same data and info statement.

Based on the explanation, it appears it was more a matter of someone with money and spite. I don't think he expects anything else.

Not trying to spread rumors and I don't know if there is any truth to it, but I read on Shaggy over the weekend that the new owner and owner of Eskimohut, Kevin Morgan, is a pedophile.
