Its no secret. The Big 10 has been a weak football conference for 10 years.

It's going to be a weaker conference with Maryland and Rutgers. Just getting too watered down.

The Big 12 hasn't been much better with often far more favorable match-ups. How has the Big 12 done against the SEC in the Cotton Bowl? Same exact struggles in NC games and BCS games.

The B12 is on an eight game losing streak against the SEC in bowl games and is 3-15 in the last 18 bowl games against the SEC

Well, it looks like they squeaked one out. How many balls can Georgia drop in the final two drives?

1-9 in their last 10 Rose Bowls per Lou Holtz

It's obviously due to playing that murders row of Indiana, Purdue, Illinois and Northwestern. That meat grinder just doesn't leave anything left for bowl season.

Rutgers and Maryland to the rescue!

You can add Michigan to that list as well. 2 out of 3 B1G victories were against Indiana and NW.
K State destroyed them a few nights ago.

It really sucks that Nebraska won. Georgia underachieved from what I saw....that and dumb players. unusually dumb.

Well, we get to watch the Bo Pelini meth lab fire for a few more years.

Big 12 has more Rose bowl wins over that time. Lol

Hilarious how many ISU fans make fun of the Big Ten for their struggles against the SEC when they've been just as bad, if not worse.

I'm predicting Ohio State beats Clemson(since Clemson folds to any team with a great RB) and will finish the BCS era with a 14-14 record. Not horrible considering they were probably underdogs in at least 70 percent of those BCS games.

Meanwhile the Big 12 is likely going to finish with a 9-13 record after Bama pounds OU.

Id also bet money on the Big Ten winning a NC before the Big 12 in the new 4 team playoff format. The Big 12 has zero top teams who play defense right now which wont bode well for them in the new playoff format.
