I always find these amusing. Obviously not a great reference with just the “leader”, but comparing yards per pass/rush/catch I find interesting at this point in the year. The personnel/injury/scheme difference in the 2 teams and especially with this year for us the bottom 2 have flipped each game.

It sounds like Morton is pretty banged up, like he wouldn't play if the game was today... But that may be TTU HC playing games with the media

Honestly, I rather play a recovering banged up starter that doesn't run and Heacock has film on vs the freshman dual threat that has little film.

I've seen the script too many times on Iowa State playing an unknown backup who has the game of their career.
This happens all the time in football. The Unknown QB with no film, trots out on the field and lights it up. Last time I saw that, I was at a Vikings game and the heavy under dog Bills send out some guy named Josh Allen. Not only did they cover the spread, they destroyed the Vikings that day.

I think this is the case for about anywhere. Even the slightest difference in how a new guy throws can be a problem for a defense that's not prepped for it.

Repeating but I'm glad there's at least a little film on the new guy. The complication is probably having to prep for both.

Even better, you've got two guys splitting reps in practice. But maybe neither 100% confident.

I missed this apparently. Don't want to cave the thread, but I have to imagine that this kicker got at least a "don't do that again" from the coaches this past week.

Watched that game on TV. Allen was outstanding. Vikings were depressing.

One thing football all coaches love, and that's non-football distractions.

Anyone done a blue dot count? I looked quickly at ticketmaster and there can't be more than 80ish left for Saturday. 3 sellouts in a row seems inevitable, boys.

Just did one and got 195. A lot of them are single seats, though.

Even if it isn't an official sell-out. It will be close enough.

Heck, it would have been listed as a sell-out three weeks ago if they used Nebraska's standards.

I think this game will say a lot about this team. if we can come out and put together a full game and win comfortably I will have enough evidence to finally say I believe we will be in the big 12 championship game.

Is this game a theme?? Trying to pack and want to make sure I’m color coordinated if I can be!
