It’s probably going to be tough going finding a place in around Lahaina that hasn’t the Longhorn Network. You’d might have to make the 30-40 minute drive to Kahului at the BWW.

And yes, Hawaii doesn’t do DST, so it’ll be a four hour difference at that point, not five.

May want to try Paradise Grill right at the entrance to all the Hotels in Kaanapali. It is a decent sports bar not too busy. They may be willing to get a game watch going also if enough people are interested.

Okay a bit of an update. I've been talking with Spankys Riptide on front street in lahaina. They do not currently get the channel.. But they have interest in paying for it to try and get a little game watch going. Nothings set yet they told me to reach back out to them a week from now. I told them I'd try to get an idea of how many people. Our group will have 10 there that Saturday.

If you're interested, please let me know and how many people you would have!
I’ve got a group of anywhere from 4-10 people. I’ll see what I can find out also about places that will have the game. Anyone who has directv I believe has LHN, but maybe that’s just for us on the mainland

I believe you have to have the basic sports pack.. But I'm confused how all of these sports bars are saying they don't get it.

I’m sure they don’t get many requests for the Iowa state football game, and even fewer for the long horn network, but I’m sure there’s at least a couple bars that have it and don’t realize it. There was a sweet bar and restaurant that had an upstairs with a giant moose head on the wall and had patios that overlooked Front Street, but I heard it closed.

With the selection of bars extremely limited in the area of Lahaina, even if the bars don’t have the channel (which someone HAS to have it), I feel they would be willing to get the channel by persuasion of a large gathering of thirsty cyclone fans drinking for 3 and a half hours at their bar.

Has anyone reached out to ISU? Jokes aside it would probably be worth emailing JP and others to see what their plans are.

Another place to maybe reach out to is Captain Jack's Grill.

This place is great for breakfast especially for the value probably the only place on the island you will be able to get a good breakfast for under $10. Plus they serve bloody's and stuff in the morning. They open at 7 or 7:30.

Another question is were are people going to watch the basketball games for people that will be there without tickets? I am hoping to get a ticket to at least one of the games.

There, as well as Down the Hatch, which I believe is right next door both have great layouts to accommodate a large group of people and plenty of TV’s. Those where the two places I saw that looked plenty big enough and are rated as some of the top bar and grills.
