Checked with both Buffalo Wild Wings and Sweet Carolina's and both said would have Texas game.

I'd be careful with Buffalo Wild Wings. 4-5 years ago, my wife and I were out of state on the east coast and I wanted to watch a game. Called a nearby Buffalo Wild Wings to see if they had it. They said yes. When I actually went there, they got the message saying that it wasn't a part of their package. Given, I was on the East Coast, so maybe the BWW locally in Iowa will subscribe to it.

I had the same experience with BWW in Cedar Rapids a couple of years ago. I called 2 hours before game and they said they would have it. Got there and NOPE.

i always ask for the bartender when i call and ask about TV

in my experience, the bartenders know what they have on tv. the 16 year old working the hostess stand answering the phone does not

KCCI has an article up and suggests signing up for Slings 7 day free trial getting the "Sling Orange" package, with the "sports extra pack." looking at it adding the packages will cost 11ish dollars. Guess that is cheaper than going to a Sports Bar.

That is what I am seriously considering.

Hey, just an FYI on where to find:

I have Sling Orange & Blue, with Sports Extras (signed up for like 6 months back during FB season) and it DOES have the LHN. It was $275 for 6 months as a special, goes up to $350, and I won't renew I think.

Still have to get ESPN+ separately.

Are we going to have a poll after the game with the the choices: 1) "Sure glad I spent the money to watch that game"
2) "Wish I wouldn't have changed my TV package for that game"
3) "Spent the night doing family things--was that really a foul on Ward?'
4) "Went to bed early with my SO. It was fun. I haven't had a night like that since those drunken college days"

I have the Disney+ bundle. Can watch ESPN+, but for the life of me, can't figure out how to watch LHN. Of course, it's asking for a TV provider...but i don't have one...I have Disney+ and the ESPN app on my TV.

LHN isn't part of ESPN+

Do they put the LHN games on regular ESPN plus for replay when the game is done or do you have to have LHN for the replay too?

Anyone with YouTubeTV should be able to watch it if they just enter that in as your TV provider at espn.com/activate. I'm all logged in.

Yup, you won’t be able to get LHN. Need a cable provider. I have Hulu+, which includes espn+ and am unable to watch LHN.
