This is the part that pisses me off. We of the fan base can probably find someplace to watch but the casual college football fans across the country will miss it in it's entirety. Our last two games were entertaining for general college football fans and they were both prime time on premiere networks that attracted tons of views. Outside of Texas there will probably be like 20,000 viewers.
The only good news is that if this is at all a premiere matchup they won't be able to stop talking about it on Gameday. They will want to promote the hell out of it to try to recoup some of their LHN losses from that atrocious contract so they will be plugging it for all it is worth, whoring for subscriptions.

I was laid up on the couch Saturday and watched Gameday almost from the start. Up until the last 20 minutes or so I could swear that the Big 12 had a conference wide bye week and only the SEC, Big 10 and (to a lesser extent) PAC 12 were playing. Luckily by the very end I learned that two of their guys were picking ISU for the upset. I always get disappointed when I break down and watch Gameday again.

Sorry, didn't mean to come across like that! Just meant that if I was back home in ames I'd feel a lot more confident in the ease of finding a good place to watch including sound. I had thought lhn was dropped on dtv outside of Texas so figured it was going to be a major pain.

This has been mentioned more than a few times. Maybe start a thread asking who else is going and where they are staying and try to set something up with a local bar Seems there might even be enough fans out there for ISUAA to do something?

In Florida I have LHN in standard definition, but not HD. It will be brutal, but I at least get to watch it live.

ESPN deserves to get screwed out of better advertising revenue from a premier game being on LHN.

The ONLY streaming service it's on is PS Vue. That kinda stinks.

If I do a new trial, and cancel it within 5 days, do I have to pay the $10 (or whatever) up charge for the sports package?

Just looking at this... when I have done a PS Vue trial in the past, you could basically sign up for their premium package and all add-ons for the free trial. So that should work to see the game. We still have PS Vue and are generally happy with it.

Without reading through the whole thread, is there my other 'free' streams for this game via firestick or anything or they sort.
My apologies if it's been covered, lazy Friday

I'm in the same boat. I'll probably add LHN for $10 for the month then scrap it.
