Why do I get the feeling that Texas will win this on a controversial call at the end?

Because they likely will. Baylor has squandered several opportunities to get some separation in this game.

Lowest attended BCS game ever? But then again didn't TCU play Boise State in the Fiesta in 2010? That probably had a bad bad attendance.

Wasn't there an Oklahoma-UConn matchup a few years ago that was pitifully attended? And wasn't that the Fiesta too? Man, they've had some bad matchups in that bowl. I just looked it up, UConn sold fewer than 3000 tickets out of their required allotment of 17,500. Woof.

Turns out the 2013 Sugar Bowl (Florida-Louisville) was the poorest-attended BCS bowl ever, with 54,178. Last year's Music City Bowl drew more fans than the Sugar.

Even so, that call was baloney. I have no problem with penalizing taunting ... but slowing down the last three steps (and maybe doing an incredibly mini version of the high step) is no reason to throw a flag in my book.

Unless the Big 12 office was buzzing the refs from the home office at the Dallas Buffalo Wild Wings ...
