DO you honestly think OSU, Michigan and Penn St. are going to let them come in and push them around? Come on. Michigan and OSU hate each other but they will work together against Texas if it comes to that. Texas better step in line. If they think they are going to run that show they have another thing coming. Besides that, I can't wait to see those ****ers go up to Ann Arbor in November.

Then we do not need to discuss UT to the Big 10.

Hello there Hawkeyes6785. Do you realize how pathetic it is to pretend to be a Clone fan on this messageboard just to defend the Big 10 and the Hoks? Get a clue.

Somebody drop the ban hammer on this fraud.

Having a different opinion makes me a Hawk fan? I'm able to see things outside of a homer view. Something that maybe 1% of the people on this board are capable of doing.

Scary thought:

Big 10:
NU
ATM
UT
MU
ND

Pac 10:
CU
OSU
KU
KSU
UTAH
BYU

SEC:
OU
TTech

Then it's just Baylor and us left out. Now that's a worst-case scenario.

If Texas would join they won't run the show like they do/did in the Big 12.

1) The offices will remain in Chicago and will never move, especially to Dallas
2) The Big Ten will never change the way they split their revenue even if Texas gets ****** and wants more.
3) The conference title game may go to Cowboy Stadium once in a while but for the most part will be played at Ford Field or Lucas Oil Stadium.
4) If Texas doesn't like it and would ever threaten to leave I think the Big Ten would tell them to not let the door hit you in the *** on the way out.

LOL I left for an hour and this is what happens! I can just see DeLouss and the dude from aTm getting together and saying, "Hmmm. How can we **** Nebraska now?"

Very intersting Luther. Especially if what Chip "I have all the inside information" Brown said on ESPN within the past hour is even close to true. Brown stated that "from a CEO standpoint," the University of Texas has had a very good relationship with the University of Nebraska. In fact, according to Brown, Texas athletic officials say they really have had NO relationship with any of the other North Division members other than Nebraska, which is why they would leave the Big 12 Conference if and when Nebraska goes.

If that is true, why would they take any pleasure in screwing Nebraska?

One thing is a known fact. This is ******* insane and there is no way the Big 12 survives this mess. Schools are bolting, conferences want to become super conferences and they are picking off the south schools at will.

Wait a minute this can't have any truth to it. Texas doesn't play in the north during the cold months. :skeptical:

ya dude don't fight it, you will end up as a pariah on this board like how I'm viewed. If you think rationally and have a different opinion than the ridiculous people you get destroyed.
Life just aint fair sometimes.

There is one constant here....

Texas has destroyed every conference they've ever been a member of.

Greed is destroying Collage football. When tradition and honor are replaced with money and commercial TV revenue.....it's just turned into professional sports with a different name.

I don't think Texas is going to the Big 10. But if they do, they will slowly consume the balance of power in the conference. They are an unstoppable force, both on the field and off.

No, posting the same agenda over and over again makes you an obsessed hawk fan. We here at CF are flattered. Careful, you are averaging more than .2 posts per day recently. Do we need to have an intervention?

A homer view is thinking Iowa would be more than Bevo fodder in that conference.

I could see moving the conference offices to Dallas while keeping Big Ten Network Studios in Chicago.

Actually it's not. Just stating the obvious. Texas destroys whatever conference they're in, and if you think Iowa (or anyone in the Big 10 save for Ohio State) is really going to compete with Texas on a regular basis, you're crazy.

Iowa won't be irrelevant, but I highly doubt you'd ever see them in position to win that conference, like they currently are.

actually adding texas to the big ten would probably allow the rest of the big 10 to compete with texas. adding texas to your conference gives you texas to recruit in. right now they are forced to mostly get kids from the east coast and a few from the southern states. being able to recruit from texas would allow kids that hate texas (yes there are some people that hate them), to go to a big time conference for a team like Ohio State, Penn State, etc.. and possibly beat texas. i however dont see texas to the big 10 because of the increased travel costs of having to go even farther north to minnesota and michigan.

I don't know if this latest twist is true but didn't the actual emails from actual B10 offiicials specifically mention Texas as a possible expansion candidate? That tells me there might be something there. The fact that the UT mouthpiece is saying its not true makes me think it even more.
