don't like the split up but this is what it's going to be like...with TCU coming it's pretty much a guarantee Louisville will come with an offer...BYU will likely come and if Missouri leaves then it'll get interesting..no chance of 14 as that's too many teams in a short time to get...maybe in 5 years or so but not now

If we're adding 3-4 teams, I don't see why 5-6 would be a problem. It'd be easy enough to add Tulane :spinny: to the South, and Cincy to the north.

I think Baylor must want Tulane. They probably want another W.

I think there's some benefit to adding an AAU school, located in SEC territory. It's somewhat of a gamble but I see the logic.

Who isn't on board for ISU games in New Orleans?

Keep MU and we're all in the central time zone. Louisville must be right across the street but is, I think, eastern. Can't we find somebody else?overall?

I think there will be a higher attendence in both sports just due to better competition. Maybe not all the much but definitely higher. They will also start getting a few better basketball players just because they will now be in the Big 12. Will still be the doormat of the Big 12 in basketball but someday I'm sure they will be competitive.

With the right coach TCU can be competetive pretty quickly with the talent available in Texas. Yes, basketball talent.

I'd actually be cool with Tulane...granted that is based solely on a reason to go to New Orleans and a solid football win every year-- probably not the stuff stable conferences are made up of.

I think TCU will benefit greatly from coming to a larger conference. Look at what being in the B12 has done for ISU facilities in the last 10 years. They have a good Football and Baseball program, that would indicate to me that the athletic department has a commitment to being competitive and will benefit from the additional revenue the B12 will bring them.

Grant of rights??? The Grant of Rights is a fairly new development, and maybe BYU isn't on board with it.

It could be changed, but, MBB +/or WBB play a Sunday game in the conference tournament. Other tournaments I don't follow, but, it could be an issue.

Every conference needs teams that make the top half possible. In a perfect world, those teams would rotate, but . . .
