Cyfan15- I don't hate the big 10, but I certainly don't have much respect for that conference, and why should I? For quite a few years now their best team almost always gets pummelled in the national championship or Rose Bowl, and their other teams usually don't do much in their bowl games. At the same time teams from the MWC and Big East keep rolling in most of their bowl games, and don't get much respect from a lot of people (I realize that's changing for the Big East, but that's been a real strong conference for several years now). Boise out of the WAC thumped Pac 10 champ Oregon, and if they beat TCU they may very well be the best team in the country. How the lower teams in the various conferences would do against each other is pure speculation unless they play, and as somebody pointed out, it doesn't happen in the bowl season. I guess my point is it gets more rediculous every year that we don't have a national championship play-off in division 1 football, and this year's championship game again won't settle anything except in the minds of the BCS officials and those that believe in that completely bogus system.

what do you mean? Oklahoma killed TCU last year! 35-10, it was TCU's only loss

I know thats what im trying to get at! If a MWC team asked to play at a top 5 place i would guarantee that the BCS school would accept. For example if TCU asked Alabama can we get a game at your guys place i guarantee you that Bama would accept it. There is NO POINT for Bama to play at TCU when they already have to play at the likes of LSU, Auburn, Georgia etc. Same goes with the Big 12, Pac 10, Big 10. These BCS schools dont have to prove anything its the MWC schools that have to prove something. And i will bet you anything if they tried hard enough to schedule a BIG GAME away from their place a team would accept it.

First of all Boise Sate is in the WAC. Second of all TCU, Boise State did ask to play power BCS teams and they did refuse.

I know they are in the WAC.
