Between the actual game and Johnny being back that was a great day that I won't forget.
We had 4 Michigan fans behind us and they were incredibly knowledgeable and complimentary.
I would love to have a home and home again.

I would too. But Beilen said after that season that he wouldn’t schedule us again.

Yeah, the NBA drafts on potential, 100% agree.

Tyrese isn't a top-level athlete so that limits his potential. He needs to work on his skill-set to offset that to raise his potential. 2-3 years of college to work on the skill-set and his body will do him wonders.

THT is a tweener at 6-4. He can cause some mis-match issues with his size and length which has a lot of appeal, but at 6-4 he needs to be a much better perimeter shooter and ball-handler to make it in the league. He has the height of an NBA guard and his shooting and ball-handling are that of an NBA wing/forward, which limits his potential.

They are both 3-4 year guys IMO.

I think Talen could go this year. Expectations aren't very high for guys drafted at the end of the first. The teams picking there are usually teams that are already good, or teams making their 2nd or 3rd pick, and they would be happy to get a guy who could just contribute off the bench. Talen would give teams more scoring and playmaking upside than teams usually get with those picks.

Bummer, just seems like we should play them and Cincy almost every year.
BYU can still have the double Ejims for a while.

Tweeners are in vogue in the NBA anymore, though. They call them position-less players now and they mean it as a compliment. I do agree that both players would be well-served with at least another year at ISU. But if one or both of them blows up in March then I wouldn't blame them for taking advantage of the momentum and making the leap.

True, but there is still a fine line imo. Give him credit for his willingness to take tough shots and freakish reach. Although his inefficient play has played a part in many of our losses, he’d be gone for sure if shooting near 40% on 3Ps and in better shape. Perhaps a blessing in the long run.

Think of the improvement guys like Thomas and Naz made over their careers, and apply that to his 6’4” 235lb frame with a 7’2” wingspan and natural playmaking.

Hilton was as electric as I've ever seen when McGary and Ejim checked in almost at the same time when a lot of people assumed neither would play.
It was like whoa, then oh boy, here we go.
Like prize fighters stepping into the ring.

Right after a poster (not you) whose name I won't mention started a thread to talk about our good luck with injuries, immediately taking Ejim down.
