Now that, you won't need to worry about.
Expect a healthy dose of Iowa chops and locally raised and produced brats.
Would that be pork or lamb?
Please excuse my ignorance.
And I'd have to guess grilled corn comes into play.

My older brother upon his graduation from ISU in AeroE took a job in Waco many years ago for Raytheon (now L3). Yeah, not much going on in Waco....I wouldn't suggest moving their for the atmosphere.Who in the hell chooses to move to Waco?
Are any of the alumni groups going to tailgate up there? I went to the tailgate at UT last year and it was a blast. I was thinking of going up and bringing my bags set and a few people. Is it open parking or would we need a pass to park nearby this?

Don't know about the alumni group, but there are a lot of Austin Cyclones heading up, I'll be there with 3 others.
They tailgate?
There will be a bring-your-own-everything tailgate gathering of Austin and Dallas people in Lot J, west of the stadium, as close to Clay Ave as we can get. There will be a (not gigantic) ISU flag. All ISU fans are invited. As far as I know, there is no "official" ISU function.
Btw, the rumors are true that Baylor STILL technically has a no-alcohol policy. BUT their campus police have become extremely relaxed on it ? as long as you cover up the bottle/can label with a koozie or preferably just pour your drink in a cup. Remember that! We watched the police last time make some Baylor fans dump their beer because they were supposed to know better.
In spite of what has been rumored, Waco is NOT dry. There are a couple of places I like. George's is just off the interstate on the west side at 1925 Speight. It is fan-friendly. Look for the billboards. Crickets, downtown at 211 Mary Ave, is a draft house and grill, with lots of beer selection and good food.
We look forward to seeing all of you that come to Waco.
