In 90+ degree weather I can actually walk outside without having to think about it. Negative whatever? Not so much.

Maybe he's just really fat and well insulated at -50 degrees, but sweats profusely at 90.

You can always put on more clothes to get warmer. You can only take off so many clothes before you either offend someone or go to jail. That is why I would rather have it be cold than hot.

I'm usually the same way, but even I have limits, haha. When it will cost you appendages to spend 30 minutes outside (on either end of the temperature scale), I fold!

Cold weather always brings out the wussies.

I was in International Falls back in February 1996 and remember looking at the thermometer on the window in the restaurant of the Holiday Inn and it was -50 (without wind chill).

Suck it up I say. Better than 90+ degrees any day.

You talking about wussies, that's rich.

As an avid distance runner, this is my logic. I could run outside naked in the dead of summer and still be hot, whereas after enough layers of clothing and miles run, my body will heat up in the cold... though -20 and colder windchills are something I'm not too familiar with.

90F is 4 degrees above the average summer high for the DSM area. The average winter low is 13F. -22 is 35 below the normal low. So that's like 125F with high humidity. :wideeyed:

I'll take Hawaii for 75F year-round, Alex!

Make sure your face is well covered(ski mask) and you are wearing some lip balm. Basically no exposed skin if you actually enjoy having it around. For me at least my lungs really burn that first half mile when its below -5 as well.

Question for the weather enthusiasts and professionals on this site. Today's forecast low is -1. But the hourly forecast temps don't show -1 until tomorrow at 7:00 AM. The midnight low is supposed to be 4. Obviously weather days don't follow a midnight to midnight period. What hours make up a day when forecasting temperatures?

Regardless, I am not happy about what is forecast the next two days.

Makes me wanna see what would happen if I pee off that building. Frozen pee pebbles at the bottom?

2 pieces of advice if you do this:
1: Pee with the wind
2: Make sure your junk doesn't touch a metal railing. Explaining why your wang is frozen to the rail is NOT something you want to explain to the first responders.
