He'll have to sit out a year if he goes D1 so he'd have 2 years of eligibility left starting fall of 2018, correct?

I'm know thats normally the case for basketball and football, but I thought I remembered other wrestlers transferring and being eligible immediately. I could be wrong.

He was given full release so will have three years, unless he goes to another Big Ten program which I don't think he will do.

He would be immediately eligible at the NAIA, JUCO, DII, DIII levels.

I wondered if wrestling had a different set of rules on transfers but my brain locked up for some reason. Not the first or last time I'm sure.

Ross, obviously a BI6 programs doesn't make much sense. Any indications or guesses where he might end up?

Iowa State at 157 might work. I assume Allar will be 165 and Verkleeren, Leisure at 149.

UNI has Steiert, P Moore at 157/165. both young guys

I have a strong feeling both UNI and/or ISU are going to get a call. He'd like to be closer to home, but he'll still listen to other schools

Yeah, I am not sure. I haven't heard what the main interest will be weight wise. DiBlasi and Straw are becoming pleasant surprises this year. Had heard talk of DiBlasi going 165 in the future
