Fredy was up at UNI...invited by Schwab for their dual today. VT, Mizzou, Okie and some others might be interested from what I hear. He's a three time IA state champ, Fargo champ, and was in the top tier of the country...one of the few Iowa wrestlers to get some hardware outside the state these days. He won state on a torn MCL. He's plenty tough.

He put on a lot of muscle over the summer and walks around low 70s. Doesn't have the frame to cut that much weight. Also, if he was kicked off, why did he wrestle in the Scuffle? Those types of things are not decided by coaches and the school in a few days. And if his Dad is such an *******, why is he not on HR, here or any other site that denigrate his kid's character? He has in the past, like when Iowa fans booed him when he was injured in a match with Kemerer but haven't really seen boo of him since his kid has been in college. Most people I have talked to that actually know the kid said he is pretty respectful and well liked by his teammates. Like I said on HR, I don't get the hate for Stroker in Iowa. Sometimes, it just doesn't work out...especially at a college that just fired their legendary coach but didn't get rid of the assistants that supposedly didn't know about the drug problems in their program. So it's another year in flux for Minne. Surprised he and a lot others didn't leave earlier.

I get it though...who really wants Dbag Dads running around on message boards representing your fanbase by attacking anybody the least bit critical of their kid, amiright?

This. This sounds like a lot of vague (even by innuendo standards) denigrations of a kid who has never had any public issues.

Weird, someone this weekend told me Stroker to ISU was basically a done deal. Not someone I'd expect to have a credible source, but the certainty they had made it very believable. Maybe I just had a few too many beverages.

I'm 100% positive your source is better than mine, so I absolutely believe you.

Unless l have been deceived. But I know Tsirtsis to Iowa State was a done deal and got leaked and ASU jump in and got him. So maybe it was a diversion, but I don't think so. But need weight for future is 157 & DiBlasi to go 165

That alone doesn't make someone automatically tough. Also, someone said he never had any public problems. Not quite true.

I think KJ is taking a pass and I'm happy about that.
