I think someone is very high on himself. Not any different than most KU fans who think the result of a game for the team that they root for makes them better than other people. You are forgetting, that most of us here don't CARE about your opinion, yet you continue to express it.
The reasonably minded ISU fans have reasonable responses to my posts which lead to interesting comments and conversations. The overly sensitive get overly sensitive and attack. No biggie.

I would love to see any post of mine that suggested you said "ISU sucks". I didn't. But you are coming on here saying how much better KU is than ISU. And what you don't get is that we don't care about a KU fans opinion about KU vs. ISU. Why is it so hard for you to understand that? (Enter dumb KU fan joke here.)
You act as if you caring about what I post is a requirement for my participation. That's funny.

It is an ISU board, not a KU board. Why would an ISU fan care about your biased opinion. Yet you keep posting. When opinions about KU are asked, I agree. But when you just start telling us about how great KU is you are being an ***.

KU fans gonna KUKU: (verb) to act overly superior to fans of other teams simply because you choose to root for a winning basketball team.
How am I acting "overly superior"? My opinion is no better or worse than anyone else's and I have made no attempt to convince people of that. Do I think that some specifics of Kansas basketball are better than ISU? Yes, but again, what does that have to do with me personally? I get the whole "chip on the shoulder" thing and how it makes it more fun to root for your team to beat the conference bully but transferring that over to a fan of that team seems a bit unnecessary. I don't make any of this personal and I don't see the need for anyone else to do so. I am talking basketball and you guys are talking about me and somehow I am the one that derails the conversation? OK. It's probably not a coincidence that fans of the other programs in the SEC say the same thing about Kentucky fans and fans of the other programs in the ACC say the same thing about Duke and Carolina fans and fans of the Big East said the same thing about Syracuse fans and...

Not to completely change the subject but I just noticed you live in my old hometown of St Joseph, MO. Born and raised there until the age of 13. Small world...

In my experience, saying anything backing up ISU on a KU board pretty much gets you insta-banned due to such thin skins and lack of perspective. You would be welcome to remember that.

What is that, some type of attempt at a veiled threat? Oh good grief. Grow up, people. And you say that KU fans have thin skin?

That's the only place on the planet where Iowa State's SOS is tougher than Kansas. Kansas has FIVE games against RPI Top 10 teams; Iowa State has TWO. Kansas has TWELVE games against RPI Top 30 teams; Iowa State has SEVEN. CBS Sports RPI games:Kansas: #3 Villanova#4 Florida#7 Iowa State#7 Iowa State#8 Duke#16 SDSU#22 Oklahoma#24 Texas#26 Colorado#27 New Mexico#28 Oklahoma State#29 ToledoIowa State:#1 Kansas#1 Kansas#15 Michigan#22 Oklahoma#22 Oklahoma#24 Texas#28 Oklahoma State

Are we talking SOS? You are talking RPI. If you want to talk apples make the Granny Smiths and McIntoshes be the topic, not the Valencia oranges.

Most of you bag on Iowa "good" win over Minnesota because Minnesota "sucks". They are RPI #45. Richmond is Top 50 but out as of now. BYU, Providence, Mizzou, Tennessee are all bubble teams. Most don't see those RPI Top 50 teams as "good wins".

They should if they are road wins.

Probably have played 10+ teams that were ranked at the time we played them. We also have a win over Michigan when they had Mitch McCrary.........I don't think anyone else can say that.

Not to mention Melvin's first game back after a knee injury.

ISU fans dislike KU fans because KU is their competition for what they want. Iowa is not. It may be fun to brag locally about a game against Iowa but in the scheme of things it makes no difference at all if ISU beats Iowa or not in a game. And I am well aware that my point of view ruffles feathers for the simple reason that it comes from a Kansas fan. I am fine with that. All of the dozens of posts I have put out here discussing my respect and admiration for Hoiberg and ISU go unnoticed and ignored. People get their hackles up at the first scent of any statement that might in any way, shape or form be any type of negative statement about their team. I get it. But stating that I think that Kansas' schedule has been harder than ISU's isn't an attack on ISU. It's just a statement about the topic. Good grief...
I can't speak for anyone else, but that's not why I hate Kansas fans. I hate Kansas fans because they're so entitled, they'll be obnoxious during the game and do their "rock chalk" chant if they win, but don't stick around to take crap if they lose, and because they refuse to see that they get the benefit of the doubt on so many calls. The refs favor Kansas. But you really don't hear Kansas fans admit that. Instead, they try to argue that they're treated just like everyone else.

You having what we want has nothing to do with it. In all of the teams who have been a part of the big 12, there are only two fan bases I've hated. Kansas basketball fans, and Nebraska football fans, and in both of those cases it's because they're obnoxious

I'm having trouble understanding why you spend so much time here. Do you spend just as much time on other Big 12 school message boards? You know that pretty much anything you say is going to be misconstrued by the majority of folks here (me included). I despise KU, and the last thing I would want to do is sign up for your message board (unless I was just trying to get a rise out of people there.) I prefer to read comments and posts from people I mostly agree with. I think you just like to argue......

As an Iowa State fan, I naturally dislike KU fans. But Twocoach actually has more intelligence than most Cyclone fans on this board. Just because someone has a different opinion, doesn't mean they are automatically wrong. Use some logic folks!

KU used to be my second favorite conference team. I was a huge Bill self can, Roy didn't even really bother me I always rooted for them in the tourney.

But "people" like this make it really really hard to like them. Amazingly enough the very second the national media made their commentary last year's game in Hilton, they came crawling out of the woodwork.

I don't know why this individual feels the need to come here and be a condescending *****.

But because of so many of this type of fan, I root for them to lose.
