I admit the onside kick was bad but we gave up 391 yards 2 turnovers and 49 points. the refs are not picking on us our bad play has been consistent since UNI. we have had 370 yards in penalties, this team is not disciplined.

we have seen the same calls over and over again making the same dumb mistakes since UNI. the officials are not out to get poor iowa state. the reason we are losing is turnovers and dumb plays. if you blame the officials you are ignorant and a sore loser.

sorry

In general I agree... however...

One AWFUL call changed possession of the ball when it was a 2 score game with plenty of time left.

It wasn't even a judgement call. It was the wrong call.

If you think the officials have no affect on the game you are ignorant.

I haven't really seen many people "blame" the officials, most just pointing out how bad it was and the trends that seem to be happening in terms of poor officiating. Officiating didn't cost us the game but it sucks when they become a negative part of the game.

I accept your stupid apology. look at the yankees- redsox collapse, or the cups bartman collapse- this team crumbles under injustice and we can point to that.

when you notice the officials, and even start to recognize faces and "letters" throughout the game, then there is something wrong.

of course officiating can change a game...but its not why we lost this game.

The refs are not out to get us, but the quality of umpiring in our games has been embarrassing. But you need to wake up, it is ignorant thinking that the calls have nothing to do with the game.

I agree the officiating was so good they failed to realize there is no tuck rule in college football.

Doesn't matter how bad you are turnover margin, if you are putting yourself in a position to win the game.

I'm not or will not blame anything of the loss to the refs. However, when you look at reffing across college football, it is ABSOLUTELY horrible.

Look at the Toledo/Syracuse game...

1.) PI in the endzone on 4th down and an uncatchable ball
2.) Offsides on kick

I'm not saying it affected the outcome, but it was horrendous and made the game less fun to watch knowing the call was wrong.

Further, in the postgame, Rhoads was asked about the penalties and he said "Next Question" and that he wasn't going to mention officiating.

Clearly we aren't way off and Rhoads is ****** too.

This is a good response. The wrong call simply handed the ball to the other team when ISU was down only two possessions. It may not be the reason ISU lost, but it is a reason ISU's opportunity to win was lessened because of stupidity by officials. Baylor was the better team, I won't argue that but the play on the field should dictate the winner, not stat sheets and not lousy officiating.

It's awful and it's the same week after week after week. Bad calls are bad calls, weather they determine the outcome or not, it's getting out of hand.

You have no way of knowing how a game will play out when officials screw up calls that affect possessions in the game.
