Stewart is killing Cramer right now.

I think Stewart is funny, but when did he turn into a political and economic expert? I understand that he's educated and is well-informed, but he can't hold a candle to Cramer on matters of finance and economics.

Cramer graduated Magna Cum Laude from Harvard, later went to Harvard Law School, started his career at Goldman Sachs, and ran a hedge fund. Yet somehow, Stewart will make him look foolish and everyone will continue to kiss the ground he walks on. I don't get it.

Stewart wasn't giving investment advice.

I'd be more willing to think of Stewart as non-partisan if he went after Barney Frank for saying that Fannie (or Freddie, whatever) was fine and not in danger of going under last July.

Since this thread reminds me of politics, whatever happened to politicalfanatic.com? I can't get on there anymore.

He'd never say it. He'll never bash on a Democrat.

I sometimes wonder how people like him will keep shows on the air for the next 4 (or possibly 8 years). He got SO much mileage out of the Bush administration. What's he going to do when he can't make fun of Obama or a democratic congress?

You don't have to claim anything to make it known where your allegiences lie. Stewart isn't as openly liberal as Alan Colmes or Marc Lamont Hill, but he clearly leans to the left.

That's what I'm saying. You said, "I'd be more willing to think of Stewart as non-partisan if he went after Barney Frank for saying that Fannie (or Freddie, whatever) was fine and not in danger of going under last July."

Why would you be willing to think of him as non-partisan when Stewart himself doesn't claim to be?
