This is the first time that I've had a chance to listen to Steve Deace. I've been enjoying the first hour. Is this how he normally is or does he seem to have the jitters?

He is usually very enjoyable to listen to when talking sports. I didnt have a chance to listen to his new show today. A lot of people hatehi mcause he doesnt show allegiance to one side or another, but ive always liked him.

He definetly had the jitters today. I will say he really hasn't changed his show aside from inserting more current events instead of sports. If anything, he may need to tone it down. Although, he did tell an old guy who said all Deace wants to do is talk about himself that, "If you don't like the show after a week, then keep listening because papa needs a new pair of shoes."

Speaking of sports shows, I listened to KXNO. Jon Miller sounded factual and good. Need more of him. Marty and Miller were very borderline. The one dominated the opther and sounded like he had an ego problem or large bravado. He defended both Cyclones at times and then abused them. For instance, he claimed the Mall of America had 25% Clone fans and Hawks had 75% of the Iowa fans. His sidekick said he bet it was more 60-40% Hawks to Clone fan hats at the mall. They went on for twenty minutes arguing nonsensically. They reminded me of Tony Cornheiser ex ESPN and now new Monday Night Football host. Tony was a waste because he talked about himsel and his exploits and had very little info on sports. He was replaced by Colin Colingherd who talked sports. Hope these new sports shows realize we want info and not diatribes on their life experiences to fill the 3 hours.
