Completely agree with Okie State. They are going to be wicked dangerous.

I would swap OU and Iowa. I think this is the best shot ISU has to take down the Sooners at JTS in my lifetime. I really, really want to beat Iowa, and have been frustrated that CMC hasn't gotten a win over the Hawks yet. But winning that OU game would be much more important in the Big XII standings and for our program than a win at Kinnick.

I would certainly never wish this on a kid but Charlie Brewer is one hard hit away from his career possibly being over - I'll believe he's still Baylor's QB when I see it. They weren't even sure he would return this year.

Maybe just cause I live out of state and don't have to put up with it anymore. Iowa is by far the least important game to me. Zero impact on the conf standings, it's on the road, and it's a rivalry game so anything can happen. Get no credit for winning, not going to hurt if you lose. I just don't have any interest in that game other than the 3 hours it is on. SDSU and UNLV are way way more important to me (Can't afford to lose those) and the Iowa game is light years behind every Big 12 game.

Iowa should be no higher than 6 or 8, unless you're conceding you're not winning the conference

Iowa at #1 is a bold move. But I think I agree this year. This streak needs to end or the Stanford Band is just going to run roughshod over the whole state. It is a big game and very indicative of the coaching in game and a good preview of things to come.

I don't put Iowa that high. They are starting a new QB and we get them early in the season.

I would go:

OU
Texas (That have maybe the best QB in the Big12)
OSU (IMO their a a ceiling on how good Gundy's teams can be, regardless of talent.
Iowa (QB plus Big 12 wins means a better bowl game)
