Would also be curious about this. Feel like our account information is in too many places already, but relying on a gambling website for a level of security would make me the most nervous.

Im on DK. This is not entirely true, for dk. It is an option amongst other things including paypal, electronic check, dk giftcard (unsure what this is), and making deposits at retail vendors.

I personally use paypal because it allows me to transfer funds, back to my paypal account.

The accounts are linked I believe. You can use the money in either drafking app.
It doesn't seem like it. In fact I put money in the fantasy one from my PayPal. But the sports book shows balance of $0 and says dk can only get PayPal from personal accounts. Apparently my PP is part of my LLC. Probably a SSN thing.

Dude I never had a single issue in dealing with payouts from much shadier companies back in the old days of online poker. These are big legit companies doing this. It’ll be just fine.

Random question- But I assume the NCAA prohibits their athletes from betting?

The way I understand the rules: They are prohibited from betting on any NCAA sanctioned sport at any level including fantasy sports, regardless of sport they are participating in. So they could do horse racing, dogs, and table games.

I am not sure how smart this is but I have joined 3 online sports books and will probably join 2 more in the coming week. I figure might as well take advantage of the new customer offers they have, it is easy money. I have joined Will Hill, Fan Duel, Draft Kings and looking at Bet Rivers and Bet MGM. I figure I can build up a little $$$ with low deposits that will let me participate for a while and figure out which app I like best. Todays DK promo was bet 1$ win $100 if there is a TD scored by any team in the NFL Champ games with a $5 deposit.

I have stayed away from it because I can tend to be stubborn and strong willed with stuff like that. I will go to the casino with friends or play a game of cards every once in a while, but I don’t think always having betting at my fingertips is a good thing for me. If I lose money on a stock, I get mad about it and continue to buy more and more as it goes down. It usually works in investing but that mentality is horrible for betting and I don’t think I’d be able to shut that off.

FWIW I have no problem with others partaking, it’s just not a good deal for me.

This is why the app with a separate account at the sports book is nice. It isn't like they're taking money from your checking account with every bet you make. Just put money away in the sports book account and keep things separate. Of course, with William Hill and such you can still just use the casino to deposit and withdraw so you don't end up being tempted to keep depositing money.

Found it for my iPad, but not in Play store. Closer now. Just wish I didn’t deposit money in the fantasy crap. Thanks
Play store doesn't allow gambling apps so you have to go to the sportsbook's website to get the app download and install it.
