one game, but Austin only getting 3 rebounds is a horrible stat. They obviously are not the same team without Pierre Jackson, but they should improve just like everyone else. I didn't watch the game, but it looks like fouls could have played a role.
I think SC is likely improved and should uptrend as long as Martin brings the toughness aspect ot the team.
Big 12 is incredibly bad this year. If I had to guess, I would say there will be 3 teams from the Big 12 that get into the tournament.
carolina will finish in the double digits of the sec (10th-14th) most likely. getting ellington back in january will give them another experienced guard and high energy guy. they are improved but they have 7 freshman, that will be hard to win with in conference play. that being said this game was more about coaching than talant. frank gets so much more from his players than drew does.
There will be at least five teams this year. KU, OSU, Baylor, and ISU should all be in with OU being a very strong possibility. It also wouldn't surprise me if West Virginia snuck in as well
No way West Virginia does. At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if Baylor doesn't. Losing Pierre Jackson is going to hurt them in so many ways. OU is a possibility.

No way there's only 3 from the Big 12 - even in a down year. They have to fill 68 spots...
i agree. When people say " "X" conference is terrible, they will/ should only get __ teams in to the NCAA..." they never look at the other conferences. There are at least 2 or 3 other major conferences each year that don't look that impressive.
I would almost bet my car (don't worry - it ain't that nice) that the Big 12 gets 4 teams in, and more than likely 5.
Can easily be done with teams from other major conferences or mid majors. The Big 12 was down last year. This year I think it is a little more than down.
