Someone want to smoke for our Spring Game tailgate?

A generous Fanatic has offered some pork loins for us to smoke for our Spring Game tailgate, but smoking meat is not my expertise. Anybody willing to bring equipment to smoke in the Jack Trice Stadium lot (or smoke them at home) for us to serve after the Spring game?

Sorry to hijack. I haven’t been to a spring game in quite a few years. What is the tailgate situation like for the spring game? I’m coming from Illinois and meeting my dad and brother. We won’t have much time for a serious tailgate before the game, but would love to hang out after for some grilling and beers after, if it’s allowed.

There hasn’t been much, but lots are wide open. We will probably be just south of the stadium.

You are talking 4+ hours to smoke pork loins. Better start real early in the morning.

Really don’t need to bring a smoker. I’d be willing to smoke them that morning depending on how many you are looking at. It doesn’t take 4+ hours to smoke a pork loin either.

I usually smoke to around 140. Wrap In foil and put in a cooler covered with a towel. Stays hot for hours.

I've never smoked a loin for more than two hours. Cook at 250, Take it up to 160 internal (wrap around 145 if you want to), pull it off, wrap and rest for twenty minutes or pop in a cooler until you're ready to slice and serve.

I smoke at 190 degrees. Takes longer.

If it takes longer, someone local could do it at home and then just bring over the smoked meat.
