I know a guy that bet $100 at 4 to 1 that ISU would start the season 4-1. Talk about a kick in the nads. So close and yet... we are ISU.

I lost $200 when we played Mizzou for the North title. Double whammy.

100 is a lot of money but at the same time it isn't. Depends on what you spend it on that dictates the value. My arrowhead tickets and parking pass cost me about the same as a new car battery and brake pads....which one did i fork over more willingly?

Dropping the hundred on the 4-1 start aint really the issue....possibly winning 400 is.

I didn't lose any money on this game. I learned when I was in high school to not bet on ISU. The year we lost in the 1st round to Hampton (it hurts to even mention it), I had bet a kid at my high school $100 that ISU would go to the Sweet 16.

On the road...
I can't believe we had 4/1 odds that we would start the season 4-1? That seems absurdly low. Was this a simple bet with a buddy?

Finally, someone gets it. It's not losing the 100, it's how close to the 400 he was.
