So I was thinking of buying some single game tickets for the Iowa game.... What do you think I could sell them for? Anybody had any experience with this? I don't want to sell them to Hok fans though...

Are you aware of the location of this game and how that would relate to ticket availability? Your going to have to be a fairly high donor to get those.

You can probably at least get your 70$ back, but you won't see the absurd $100+ prices that go around for games in JTS. Supply and demand. More hoks try and get into less seats in JTS than vice versa.

So you're asking what you can gouge Cyclone fans for them? Classy.

Not really. If you donate enough to get season tickets at JTS then you can request up to 4 Iowa game tickets. Never have had a problem getting my allotment filled.

My rule.... face value to ISU fans. Make money on opposing teams... minimum of double your money on hawks.

Not necessarily. Not a donor and got them for the 2008 debacle in Iowa City. Probably won't ever go back after that "experience."

As a bottom tier donor, do I even have a chance to get 2 for the Iowa game? Is it even worth sending in the form?

I only visit IC for a game if an Iowa fan pays.... no real down side.

every other year I buy as many tickets to the iowa game in ames as I can and then put a CL ad that says hawk fans only!!!!!

I then charge at least $90 for hillside. I know its silly but I just feel good ripping off hawks.

If you aren't going to use them, let another donor have a shot that will actually use them.

Iowa State athletics does not exist for you to make money.

It looks like the number of single game tickets on Stub Hub went up by about 14 today. Hope that doesn't mean that some scalpers got tickets today rather than us CFers.

Next year I may wait in line and buy all the remaining seats together in the endzone and resell them at face value to CFers who can't get there in person.

He'd get 100 a ticket, no doubt. I sold a single to an ISU fan for the the 2010 game in IC in the north endzone 12 rows up for 125 on Friday before the game.

Well whoever would buy them obviously didn't buy season tickets. I'm doing my part...and they would be subsidizing it.
You're doing your part by gouging a fellow Cyclone fan? You're doing your part by buying season tickets and taking away the ability for them to do their part by buying tickets they no longer can buy from the Iowa State athletics department for the sole purpose of profiting.

And just because they buy them doesn't mean they don't have season tickets. It can be as simple as not knowing where you'll be whenever the Iowa game is this fall or simply not being able to initially commit because of possible plans/lack of knowing gametime/etc.
