My wife wants to buy a printer that can print 12x12 scrapbook printers. Anyone know much about these?

My wife is big into scrapbooking, she says ours cannot handle the 12x12's. She did get the printer we have specifically for scrapbooking though.
For printing 12x12's the best printer out there is the Epson R1800. My wife is big into the whole scrapbooking thing and we bought our R1800 about a year ago after I did a lot of research into it. Canon also makes a printer that can print 12x12s, but the reviews I read gave the edge to the Epson. It's pricey, but well worth it.
That's the one that she wants. We already have the big fancy HP Photosmart Photo printer that we use a ton butsomehow 12x12 is now the holy grail.
Sadly she's tired of the effort it takes to actually do it by hand. Thus she wants to do it digitally and then print them out. So now, despite the fact that we have a really wicked HP Photosmart printer we have to have a new printer that can handle 12x12.
