You've got to wonder how Sage would do if he ever got the chance to start several games in a row to get into his groove.

I would like to see him do that..but in Chicago. Couldn't do any worse than Griese, Grossman or Orton.

Is it bad that two of the best back-ups in the NFL are from Iowa State? Wouldn't it be great if they could both get a fresh start somewhere else!

This topic needs to be bumped to the front page. It is something positive to look at .

I think that both, given the right situation, could have great NFL careers (like what they brought to ISU). It is a shame that they both sit on the bench and have to wait...

trade both of them to chicago, lol they really need it bad, they could do the Warner Leinart thing that was going on. Both are great and deserve to start somewhere but both teams they are at have good qb's or have paid some money to get that qb.

as much as the NFL is hurting at the starting QB position, any team with a decent backup would be stupid to get rid of them. As much as I'd LOVE to see Sage and Seneca start, the fact that they aren't being shopped around just demonstrates that they are very solid backups.

Either one of them could be starting for half a dozen NFL teams at the moment, though.
