Curling? that should be a bar game, like darts.
baseball is gay too - but that's another rant ... and yes, I guess its kindof a sport ... sorta.
I was at Coralville Mall over noon hour today getting some Xmas shopping done. I swear to God I saw more ISU gear than I did Iowa clothing. Mostly due to lack of support from Hawk fans while most ISU fans remain pretty loyal.
Does Coralville have a lot of the new logo stuff? I'm looking for a black sweatshirt with the logo ... in my mind it is totally sweet
brag about beating them not about them missing a bowl. Unless we make one it just makes us look obsessed and stupid.
yep ... 22 had a signature pic with the new logo on a black background - it stood out really nice.

I agree...it really pops on a black background. Feels dirty, being black is a primary color of our in-state rival, but it looks really good.
Well, to each his own. But to me mixing school colors with non-school colors, particularly one used by a certain instate rival, is blasphemy I tell you!

In most cases I would agree. I like how it pops out though like 22 and some others said. Maybe it could be that way for some print type logos. Not on shirts and stuff.
Obsessed man. The worst thing you could do to iowa is pretend they don't exist. If Iowa beat us and finished with 3 wins and we were 6-6 and they made fun of my team I would have to laugh at how utterly stupid they were. They are probably laughing at you. Rebuilding or not, we lost to some pretty horrendous teams this year and don't have a lot of room to brag to anyone. But if you want to tell them how important it was to you that of the 3 wins, one was your superbowl go right ahead.

Relax, dude. It's sports. Razz'n each other is what makes it fun. That's what a good rivalry is all about, as long as you don't take it too seriously (as you obviously have). I've received a half-dozen positive messages and plenty or rep (which you and your ilk promptly erased) for this post (which surprisingly, is on the In-State Rivals forum)!!!
Your point is invalid anyway. We participated and won our bowl game ... back in September!

I guess I missed that lesson about "razz'n" is what makes sports fun. I do not know why we can not be humble once we win. I actually beleive most of the people on here make fun of the Iowa fans that "razz" us when they win, and then we turn around and do it back? Does not really add up. I think if we are going to brag to them we might want to acheive something more than just beating Iowa.
Please tell me you are kidding about us winning our bowl game, otherwise I will never read another post of yours.
Wow...you guys are dense. Of course I'm kidding...that's EVERY Iowa fan's excuse for losing to us so frequently. They say we win because it's our bowl game.
