Any of you guys go to the awesome performance by Def Leppard and Journey? During the encore, Journey's lead singer came out in a Bret Meyer Jersey. It was the coolest thing I've seen a long time. Def Leppard rocks by the way.

I was there, Journey was alright, but when their lead singer came out with Meyer's jersey I went nuts. Def Leppard definitely brought the house down with a little Hilton magic of their own.

By far the best concert I have ever seen, and I agree, Journey's encore was made by the Bret Meyer jersey. What was even better was the fact that we were surrounded by a bunch of Hawk fans.....they did not like the jersey too much at all!

Are you ready to rock?!?

Here are some picture of him wearing the jersey and yes they are of poor quality. I thought that the whole crowd went nuts when he came out in the jersey, I really didn't notice any Iowa fans. Either way, Journey and Def Leppord know how to rock.

Its better to burn out then fade away.

This is hilarious. I saw Journey at Hilton in either 1985 or 1986; the opening act was one-hit wonder Point Blank (Oh, Nicole). I last saw Def Lep at the Scott County Fair four or five years ago. The same as it ever was...

Be sure to let me know if Loverboy & Donnie Iris are coming to Hilton anytime soon! I'm ready to relive my youth...

The Who is infinitely better than Def Leppard, don't compare Def Leppard to the Who. Even with only two of the original members left I would still take the Who over Def Leppard any day of the week. Also was Steve Perry there for Journey, somewhere along the line I heard that Steve Perry wasn't touring with them.

Al 4 State is right. There is no friggin way you can compare The Who and Def Lep. The Who is one of the greatest rock bands ever. I could understand if you compared the Who to Led Zep., Pink Floyd, Sabbath, the stones, Air Supply?...but comparing them to Def Lep. is just wrong.

I misunderstood, I thought Al 4 State was saying Def Leppard was better than The Who. I agree with you The Who is miles ahead of Def Leppard. Here's an apology to Al 4 State.
