Sucks to suck, if you think everyone that dies deserves respect then I respect your opinion.
Phil Robertson played himself to be a "man of God" while he dehumanized people who's sexual orientation he despised. He also advocated the best time to marry a woman is "15 or 16"... His "story" at CPAC years ago was disgusting for a supposed "man of God".
So yeah I have no problem not honoring someone who's different than me if that's his belief system.
When David Duke dies CFers gonna be out here like "don't dance on his grave, he just thought differently than you and deserves your respect!".
Isn't that kind of what you are doing also. Having no respect for someone you deem different from yourself?
@CPG4ISU you seem really passionate about Phil Robertson instead of dumbing posts you don't agree with why don't you jump in and tell us what made him great?

In a way, sure. I mean, I'm just pointing at one guy for being an *******, not publicly vilifying a giant group of people, but if you want to equate those two things as equals go for it.

For Duck Dynasty Bill Burr had a great bit a few years ago about it but can't recall the exact premise.
I'm not sure why people think everyone who died needs some sort of homage paid to them. Especially just because they're famous. If you want to fine but if the person has a platform and is espousing harmful things then I'm not going to go out of my way to say nice things about them just because they died.
Way to go over the top man. I am guessing the redneck down in Bama or wherever they are from are like those three. I am not defending anyone. Just saying what he said is what he was doing. In the end God will judge us all if that is what you believe and Phil Robinson is being judge right now. Not up to me to vilify him when his bible was his teacher and that is what he believed. There is a difference between what Robinson said and what HItler, Daumer, and Manson did. Those three were mass murder's. The duck guy said by his bible the gay lifestyle is not something you are supposed to live but he loves everyone. Huge Difference.
