Rhoads seems to barely be able to credit Lanning...

Nope, not possible at all, the coaches know nothing, they just pick their favorites and that is the way it is. Wonder if the coaches even go to practice, or if they even have practice, the coaches are so inept.

Don't know about the rest of your post. But agree with the bolded part.

The first part was in response to the statement of DrClone, where he stated that maybe Lanning wasn't quite ready. Sometimes there is a learning curve and then suddenly things click and the learning is attained. I like Lanning, don't feel like SR is the best choice right now, but maybe, just maybe everything suddenly clicked for JL. To have thrown him put there before he was ready could have totally destroyed his confidence and we would be back to square one. None of us goes to practice, none of us sees anything behind the scenes. For all we know JL is not a good practice player and does not take the time to learn the playbook. SR could be a good practice player, knows and studies the playbook, does not screw up in practice, what would you do?

I hate coaches sometimes. It's human nature I guess but the "Rhoads is going to play the guys he thinks give him the best chance to win" crowd is dumb.

You're kidding yourself if you think coaches don't play favorites. Happens at all levels. These are normal people, too often do we hold them to higher than normal human standards.

Isn't it possible that he was trying to give credit to the other 10 guys on the field? Especially since most all the questions and stories out of this game was Lanning?

I mean, Warren had a hand in the offensive resurgence. Bundrage helped.
