Burgers and brats right off the grill while you are both tailgating. Both of you get a little hopped up, go to the game, and then hopefully still feel the alcohol enough after the game to make some bad decisions. :yes:

Seriously though, Dublin Bay is an excellent choice. Old Chicago is another good one.

Hy-vee chicken. Lucalans, was always a favorite. What do you know about this girl so far? She may just like something quiet and simple and fun. Not the traditional romantic over played stuff.

Old Main would be a good spot. Personally, I like the food at Whiskey River too but its more of a bar. LaFuente if you want really good Mexican. Wallaby's on the west side of town would not be bad either.

The last time I did not find the pork burgers at the game - just pizza and hamburgers - I missed the pork sandwiches. Probably why we lost to Oklahoma - they did not serve pork.

Ive found that not all concessions have the pork burgers...maybe im just delusional, but it seems there are some variances on the menu of some. I had em at the OU game. the 1st stand we went to didnt have em listed so i went one down and there they were.

all great suggestions for dining. Me thinks the plan is to high tail it to boone to freshen up at a buddies house quick like, then meet up with her after 5 or 6(depending on when kick off is).
