Any leaking coming from the Big 12 about giving more is coming from BU or the other Texas schools afraid of being sent to the AAC if this goes down.

see texas was gonna have the invite all wrapped up for leverage and then get the rest of the b12 to take a non incentive based pay system that would rig the game no matter what, but tamu screwed it all up by leaking, now the big 12 could agree to incentive based tiered payment system which would trickle to other conferences, which the majority of other conference members dont want, or the big 10 can keep equal distributions, pick up old big 8 to stop tiered, send texas to the sec to get clobbered, isu may be in the drivers seat based on what JP decides, hard to believe i know

So if they agree to give UT and OU more money than the other teams would that start with the new contract or change the current one that expires 2025?

I think Baylor is in the worst shape of anyone. Small little religious college in a **** town that has a massive scandal every five years? No thanks.
IDK… I think KSU has the most to lose. Baylor gets a lot of donor dollars and whatnot from their religious attachment. KSU is boned without the P5 media money.

But you are right, them being a religious private school may bring more baggage too.

big 12 is doing exactly what u say, we need to play double agent, u offer texas more publically, base on something like on field performance and ratings, something isu could get to 3rd in if cmc stays, big 10 panics because tosu and others will then want the same thing in next round negotations, so to stop they panic, divorce ou from ut, pick up old big 8, send texas to sec to rot in alabamas sewer, so old big 8 tricks non texas big 12 leftovers to go along, but only to gain leverage to get in big10, and screw texas

According the the Big 10 website, neither Wisconsin nor NW has baseball either, so we would not be the only one.

The idea of paying more to keep UT and OU around is just whoring out the league, what will UT want next to stay?
Rather take the chance that we can end up in the Big 10 or the Pac 12 then becoming a play thing for UT.
They stepped into the lions den that is the SEC, now let them enjoy it.

Screw UT

NW has baseball. Wisconsin is the only B10 team that doesn't have it.
