I hope not. Every man for himself. No A.D. in the remaining Big 12 is honoring some gentleman's agreement if it's bad for their school. The favor won't returned.
Maybe....just maybe.... institutions can look out for themselves while simultaneously looking out for allies. Maybe for the long term viability of non blue blood programs, there needs to be a strong coalition of institutions on the same page.

I don't doubt everyone comes to the table thinking that way. I just think it sounds good in theory until you are offered something you can't resist.

I'm not suggesting you don't make a decision that is in the best interest of your institution. That's what these administrators are paid to do. They aren't paid to be jaded and/or have kneejerk reactions to bigger issues. Long term viability for a university like ISU will go beyond simply jumping to the Big 10 or Pac 12.

So what do you think the realistic timeframe will be for when we find out our ending spot? Weeks? Months? or Years?

Have a bad feeling going to be a lot longer wait than we all want.

That's what I'd do to dude. Attack people's fandom because they aren't delusional. I suppose that realistic Nebraska fans who realize they aren't a national power anymore aren't real Nebraska fans either?
considering in the last 2 days you have bragged about every other school and put down Iowa State at every chance, If you call yourself a fan of ISU you are a pretty sh%%ty one.

@2speedy1 You literally don't think that Georgia Tech being in the Big 10 would help Big 10 schools recruit down there?
I never said that, I said Georgia Tech isnt available, because they are locked into a GOR until 2037. And unless something major happens to break up the ACC too thats not changing. But for some reason you think these schools are going to walk away from half a $billion, yet in the next post say its all about money.
You are so far in left field, and make up information so much that you just destroy your point.

IMO these ACC contracts and agreements go up in flames. Lawsuits will be paid if they think they are going to miss out on billions in revenue over the next decade or 2.

Would I be a better fan if I pretended we were a perennial football power?
Again I dont think any of us were saying we are, but you are saying we are ****, while everyone else is fantastic and that the B1G can go out and get teams like Clemson and Alabama if they want. That is what I call delusional. And does not take into account any facts. Sorry but made up stats dont hold water to real facts.

its a trap man, big 10 is gonna swoop up the old big 8 to save us from going tiered distributions, they are panicking, if isu ut and ou and the rest agree to tiered distributions all other conferences have to go to that model or risk annhiliation

At the very least don't we know Clemson has been in contact with the SEC? I've heard that is actually happening. I don't know why the Big 10 isn't making that call also.

And that is your OPINION, until you can come up with actual facts that say they will or ever have you cant say the rest of us are wrong.
Im sure the lawyers that wrote these contracts knew what they were doing, to make them pretty secure. But I guess you might know more than those lawyers.

Good lawyers write loopholes in contracts too.

Do you really believe every click bait tweet? And sure, schools might be making some calls, that doesnt mean they are going to listen or actually move.
You really are making yourself look worse every post.

Isn't ISU to the Big 10 just clickbait rumors. Did you hear from Gene Smith personally to know he's looking out for ISU?

Did I say that, my god man you are hopeless. I said having those connections help. Your the one that has to prove everyone wrong.
And somehow prove ISU is going to the Missouri Valley. All the while proving every fan in the country hates us, every school in the country is better, and you are the smartest guy on the internet.
You are right there was a post that there was a call to the B1G from ISU. Does anyone really doubt that? That is not really earth shattering news.
Im sure there have been calls to every major conference and school, everyone is calling everyone. Does it mean anything, Not really, the rest of the stuff along with it might, we all here are just guessing.
