^^^How to tell someone they aren’t good enough for their job without telling them they aren’t good enough for their job^^^

So, do you screw over your friends to make a buck? I don’t. If I can’t help them, I tell them, but generally when one of my friends is in need I help them if at all possible. You must have crappy friends.
Yes. Do you think Iowa State should make a pact with the remaining Big 12 schools and not go anywhere without them even if the Big 10 offers ISU? Probably not.

And do you screw over your friends and trust outsiders over your sometimes decades long connections when possibly billions of dollars are at stake over the next decade based on your decision now? Where do people work on this forum?

I know there are a bunch of engineers here and I imagine they have a hilarious insider “never burn a bridge” joke.

You know it’s not that bad of a deal. The Prez can still say they are taking care of 80% of the University. I actually like an admin that can delegate. I look forward to being in the Big 10, Even when Iowa demands we be opposite them i. The divisions as terms of their yes vote.

Not exactly sure.

Let’s go totally off the rails with a scenario, huh? Actually JP did make a pact, called GoR with the big XII.

We have no clue what is happening now.

Right now it seems KU and ISU are working together. I have a feeling JP would help the others with the PAC 12 or stick up for them to join the big 10 also if it helped.

I hope not. Every man for himself. No A.D. in the remaining Big 12 is honoring some gentleman's agreement if it's bad for their school. The favor won't returned.
