This is the way.I think you have to hope to win one of KSU/OSU/UT and then take care of BU/KU/WVU
I'm well aware of what happened then. If I remember correctly, the selection committee said TCU was not selected because they were lacking "an extra data point". Well the Big 10 only plays an 8 game season this year (assuming they get all of their games in). Do you you think the selection committee is going to leave Ohio State out because they're lacking an extra data point? Hardly.

Ahem. Why set minimum goals?I think you have to hope to win one of KSU/OSU/UT and then take care of BU/KU/WVU
The Cyclones could run the table in conference but because of the shortened season all the squawk trolls would be able to talk about would be ISU still not having a 10 win season. Kind of like losing to a team but claiming a moral victory because they did it with field goals and didn't score a TD...Ahem. Why set minimum goals?
I hope to win all three. And take care of the rest.

Hey, y'all. I've done this the past three years, and we're far enough into the season (and Iowa State's doing well enough!) that I think it makes sense running the scenarios again. Basically, this is 100,000 Monte Carlo simulations of the rest of the Big 12 football season in Python, using Ken...cyclonefanatic.com
If we don't think it, it won't happen. DuhThe only thing we know for sure, is that our fans prematurely thinking we might make the CCG is critical to the team's performance.
WHERE does this loss put us?An Iowa State win puts them clearly in the driver's seat. If it's oSu, then the picture remains muddled due to their backload schedule. This is the biggest game of the year but only if ISU wins it.
