A. How do you know that Coe has "shaky academics"? Rumors? Is that what you're paying attention to?

B. Among guys who DID get here with "shaky academics" were Henry Simon and Tuba Rubin. Neither one managed to qualify until after the Fall semester started--and yet both made it through their two seasons of eligibility.

I suggest people stop fixating over rumors of "shaky academics". I trust CPR to know the situation better than "rumors".

Probably because he was a highly rated recruit out of high school and has spent a significant amount of time at a juco would be a good indicator that he has shaky academics.
