Correct, Brock did, in fact, receive a full ride offer from Bama. Very common knowledge. Very common for bigger schools to swoop in late to steal these types of low risk prospects. Yes, even ones that have a lowly offer from Iowa State.

I will add that it is certainly within someone’s rights for someone to not “believe” something that is true.

In D1 FB, it is either a full ride or walk-on.

Yes a full ride.... D1 football programs don't give partial scholarships
If I recall correctly…As of this House settlement, now they do. And all the other sports. Starting this Fall term.

It was such a change, that stood out to me.

How many schools take advantage of that is another question. I could see our valued former “walkons” splitting a handful of scholarships.

It's a 105 roster limit with 105 scholarships, before it was a 120 roster limit with 85 scholarships for 85 players

But looks like you're right that partial is an option now. Wasn't before
