Definitely agree about Ledo here, he did not arrive for the first day(s) at Notre Dame Prep and will not likely attend school at all this year, like you said opting to take the GED instead. With his movement back and forth to schools he will undoubtedly need to apply for a waiver from the NCAA which would take months to be approved, but he plans on being in Providence for the 2nd semester which would likely help his chances for next year...
Either way I don't see Ledo's recruiting doing much for someone like Noel on his decision...
Actually, in the chat a few weeks ago, a Providence fan asked if he [Noel] knew Ledo, and if they had talked about playing together at the next level - possibly at Providence. Noel responded that, "yes, they have talked about it"... Whatever that means.
While I would agree Ledo and his four (actually only 3) HS's in 4 years looks like trouble, we shouldn't forget that we have at least three players on our roster that were at one point labeled as "trouble". The right staff and environment can stabilize that.
PS: I'm in no way attempting to defend Ledo, it might just sound like that. I don't think I would touch him with a ten foot pole if I were a coach.
