Here is a highlight video...

Video

This kid has insane speed and vision. In many cases he literally runs by corners/safeties as if they are standing still.

From what I gather, we are the leader to get this '07 recruit.

Anyone got any additional news on him?

It looks like this guy would be a great pickup! Lots of good tape on him too...

My favorite play was when he bobbled the pitch in the endzone and then went the distance

WOW!!!!! His footwork, vision, and acceleration/speed is amazing. He's an '07 recruit? I looked at his profile and I'm not all that impressed with the schools that are after him, but that doesn't mean much. Scout.com only has him as a 1 star though. Do we know anything else about him?

On the video it looks like he has pretty good vision on the field. But i don't think his video is anywhere near as impressive as Alexander Robinson's video was on Rivals. His video was jaw-dropping. I would like to see him returning kicks if he isn't redshirted.

Rivals has better schools listed with recruiting interest.

He looks like a great athelete! Jeremey do you think his rating is going to start rising because other schools have to notice a tape like this?

Akron, Central Florida, Arkansas and us are his only offers????? How is this possible? Is this a kid that isn't expected to qualify which is why the big schools aren't bothering? It doesn't make sense from this video and his 40-time.

This would be a great get, but I have to wonder, what's the catch?

The catch is that the guy is 5-7 175 pounds. If you're running the second fasted time at combines and hit somebody weighing 175, that could be some instant injury action.

Mac has done an excellent job getting undersized guys, putting weight on them, and making them very productive.

Yup...he's undersized. So was (careful...) Reggie Bush. I'm not sure what his size was going into USC...but coming out he's still "undersized". He seemed to do fine.

Granted...I'm not anointing this kid the next #5...but he has those tendencies.

Can't get hurt if they can't catch you...

He looked just like Stevie Hicks did in high school. And was this a four year career or did one team lose by 99-0. Have not seen that many bereakaways for a whole team in a year.

He actually reminded me of Chase "Armadillo" Daniel of Missouri.

I'm sure everyone here remember Darren Sproles, from K-State a few years ago. That guy was small, but his quickness and elusiveness made up for it. Size isn't everything! I actually think that having a small, fast running back would be better than having a good-sized, slower running back for the way our team works.

But Darren Sproles was also strong. Guy had an 850 lb. squat. He was also originally from Iowa (Waterloo I think). Would have been nice to get a Darren Sproles (or a Quentin Griffin, or a Warrick Dunn - there have been many good backs this size). Maybe Mike Brown can be that back for us.
