Re: Rashad Vaughn

I'm just going to say this once. We need Vaughn for next year. Please...

Tonight shows how far we have to go from a recruiting standpoint if we really want to challenge KU, IMO. They have won 17 out of the last 18 against us, which means we're 1-7 over that span IN HILTON.

Re: Rashad Vaughn

To do list for next year:

1.) Get Vaughn
.
.
.
2.) Get another Big 12 starting level guard
3.) Get something out of the true big men we have on the roster, Gibson/Edozie, or get a big man. Even a JVB would work.

Exactly. RV would make a world of difference - it would be nice to let fKU play a one-and-done.

We have JVB on the roster. Only he's 2 inches shorter, 40 pounds heavier, and sits on the bench all game long (Gibson).

Re: Rashad Vaughn

Seriously watching tonight, a guy like Rashad would make a WORLD of difference as far as athletic ability goes.

Re: Rashad Vaughn

I hope Vaughn sees that after Kane leaves, we have a great ball handler in Monte and a bunch of shooters at SG. He would be the combo guard this team desperately needs next season.

Re: Rashad Vaughn

I really hope Vaughn didn't watch the game tonight, but still no reason to believe we are not the front runners at this point.

Re: Rashad Vaughn

We could have, and should have beaten KU without Rashad today.

Uhh what? JVB and Gibson's game are absolutely nothing alike. I'd love to have JVB on this team to spread the floor he was deadly on the pick and pop with DG a few seasons ago.

The only comparison i can think of is they both sucked on defense.

Re: Rashad Vaughn

Back to the OP... I'm willing to bet RV was looking at the highlights saying to himself, "...Man, 'Clones could sure use a descent SG... think I'll sign with them."
My thought too. If he sees an opportunity for him to make a huge difference, it helps rather than him seeing us play and seeing no room for him to improve us.

Re: Rashad Vaughn

Or he could say "KU wins the B12 every year and cruises to a 1 seed. I can step into Wiggins' spot and be a top 5 lottery pick like him and McClemore before him."

It's hard to know what someone else is thinking
