Went to two houses and then child wanted to wander to a third that was def nobody home. Then he cry. Much cry. Think he was hungry despite getting some snack before we left. He was adorable though.
They can't get rid of double tap. Instagram users need to be ready for the zombie apocalypse.
Full disclosure - I didn't really get to trick or treat as a child. Are full size candy bars really the very best that kids hope for? Am I the only person who prefers smaller things because I get more variety?
I only hoped for candy I liked.... Ironically Reese's cups and Snickers.
Our neighborhood had some veriaity. Nerds, Hershey, peanut stuff, small toys.
Back in the days before everyone was scared of everyone else, mama used to make popcorn balls. Our house was very popular. 
My sisters and I used to get full size candy bars - snack size weren't really a thing yet. When we were all done, we would sit in a circle in the living room and pile our candy in front of us. Then the trading began. I was at a bit of a disadvantage. In addition to being the youngest, my sisters knew how much I hated coconut so they were guaranteed to get any Mounds or Almond Joys I had with very little haggling.

Did anyone else Trick or Treat for UNICEF as a kid? We did that a few years. You collected money (mostly change when coins were worth something) for UNICEF rather than candy. I missed the candy a little bit but really not that much.
Broke fast with a cup of coffee and a bite size Snickers.
Why? I didn't. Are you suggesting I should have? Because I'm not very good at that self control thing.
In this case your plate discipline was good. It was a hanging curveball over the middle of the plate, not like you were chasing out of the strike zone for it.

Yes. Toshiba laptop is ancient but it just keep plugging along every time I thought it would die soon. Gonna have to buy new before end of year. It's still running Windows 7 and that system is kaput soon.
Took both of the kids to a couple of neighbors and then I took LittleWx to a few more. He was a triceratops and at one point said "I cant feel my tail!" I just responded with something along the lines of "That is actually kind of reassuring".
