We did trick or beering when in college. All we got was a bunch of candy. Went to the women’s dorms dressed as Christmas trees. Was hoping someone wanted to check out the gifts but unfortunately no one did.
How many times did you guys make the "Good things come in small packages" joke about each other?

Actually none. Oddly I apparently came across smooth with the ladies, but was totally unaware that I did. If what I knew now........
Don't you mean, "If I knew then what I know now...?
Sorry, this has been a long afternoon for me and it's only 1:30.

TIL these past 4 days:

- You don't truly get out of traffic driving between Kansas City and St Louis. I was able to use cruise a total of twice, and each time lasted less than one mile
- I hate bears (both Baylor and Chicago varieties)
- I don't actually dislike tomato soup, I dislike bad tomato soup
- I still know all of the lyrics to every song on Steve Miller Band's Greatest Hits, despite not hearing some songs for years
- glass, though transparent, is still a solid
- I'm capable of owning a fun vehicle
- I can forego food for long periods of time if it means getting out of bed to obtain it

You both are doing a good thing. Positive social and psychological interaction most likely helps more than we know, and just the fact that he's not (yet) hiding anything is hopeful. Stay with him!

I would do anything to help him. We have been best friends since elementary school. He is not the type to ask for help, and somewhat ashamed to accept it. But I'll be there whenever he needs me.

Also......about 15 or so years ago, he was hooked on meth, and got off it. By himself, cold turkey, no rehab, nothing. Amazing. I don't suspect that to be an option, but you never know.

Very true on the I-70 traffic. Only done it a couple of times but damn that is a busy stretch.
Agree on Baylor. Buzz off on DA CHICAGO BEARS

Some people pronounce the last e as a hard e. Those people would be wrong

Maybe but I bet they are not sorry.

Pretty sure the rain today will push us over 10" above normal for the year to date. Was setting at 9.76" as of yesterday.

I don't think I-70 between KC & St Louis is all that bad. Sure it can suck at Columbia, but I always feel I make good time without much hassle. Most time I drive it is on a Saturday morning so that might be part of it.
