I can't fault her too much. We have gone through expensive treatments for several of our cats. Milo just did the radioactive iodine thing last summer. He's back to his pre-thyroid self, and I love it. He turned 11 in September, so he has a lot of living ahead of him.Friend of ours birthday is today. Some of our medical choices for our cats are due to whether or not it's for us or for them. She may have made that same choice.

A lot of pet medical treatments should be tempered by the amount of disposable income a person has...if she's doing this at the expense of family needs, you might have a point.
