I have read the books and that helps, but it would be nice to see what is going on.
Well that sounds awkward. Went to baptism today, the screen thing with no hint of the correct tempo. I know I had a terrible time getting the song rhythms correct. Even songs I sort of knew seemed to get played at a different tempo always slower than I expected.
The sermon was aggressively long, luckily I had my grand nephew to entertain me.
But you can use the letters from Dune to spell Nude, so there is that.None
Semi debating going out to the airport for KState's arrival and waving an ISU flag this afternoon...
Are they giving away free pizza? you could go to the game wearing an ISU shirt.
ha aint no chance I am going to the game. Going to the airport and seeing airplanes while mocking a rival is possible but I also don't want to get in trouble with the airport.
See if you can smuggle a mop in. When Tang walks by, push the mop out and hold the phone up while you yell, “Jerome, I’m sending this to TJ!”
To be a super douche I kicked around going to the game in my ISU gear and sitting behind the KSU bench and harassing Tang, but I just don't care enough about either team to spend the money and make the drive.
Hey BC, thought of you when I read an email announcing (public tickets go on sale Friday) that Barenaked Ladies are coming to Stephens Auditorium this fall. They'll be accompanied by special guest Toad the Wet Sprocket, but that just doesn't have the same mental/visual appeal.
Think Velo like toad the wet sprocket. I honestly have no idea what barenaked ladies (the band) sings.
Also, I will say that I wasn’t surprised because it seems women tend to think of me when the word naked gets thrown around.
We just returned from a trip to Puerto Vallarta yesterday. I watched the ISU games in the following ways:
1. For KSU, we went to a sports bar and discovered that ESPN2 shows different programming in Mexico. If you wanted to see the St Petersburg Grand Prix, you were in luck. We watched part of the game on an iPhone.
2. We streamed the Baylor game in a totally not illegal manner on an iPad in the hotel lobby bar.
3. Watched the end of the Houston game on Spanish language ESPN in the hotel room. Afterwards, they showed the Iowa Wolves playing a team from Mexico City.
We didn't see much of any of the games and honestly, the weather was awfully nice to sit around and watch basketball.

I was also in peurto Vallarta and had the same experience with the k state game last Saturday. My son was able to stream the tourney k state game on his phone. Met a few cyclone fans and the weather was great.
Glad we weren't the only ones that did that. We did not meet any Cyclone fans. Our resort seemed to be almost all Canadians. The trip was awesome.
