Not exactly sure.
I’ve never really paid attention until now between my height and my wife’s. Seeing picture of us together and she routinely comes up to my chin to mouth. She claims 5 5, I’ve always said 5 11. When I did my physical for life insurance, (did a couple for comparisons) and I was 5 11 barefoot on all of them. I never stood up straight in HS for measurements. So I’m guessing I was 6 foot to a little over in HS.

The Reese's peanut butter cup does not need caramel in there, or Reese candy pieces, or Butterfinger or anything like that. It is perfect as it is.*

*Except for the possibility that the milk chocolate/peanut butter creme ratio in the Christmas tree and Easter bunny versions is a little better over the regular cup.

Yes it is but no I'm not. You 2 ladies are bad influences on me trying to lure me to the big city.:D
Not sure what to say about that ;) I can attempt to cheer “for” you if you like.

Drove out and waded in a trout stream today for a bit. Streams were crowded ('crowded' on a driftless area spring creek is 1 person per 1/2 mile) but I didn't feel like driving around to find more space. Still got a good wade/hike in and saw a few fish. I concentrate less and less each year on the actual fishing it seems and just enjoy walking near the water and looking for wildlife or whatever.

They were rising at around 1 PM and then the wind temps dipped and so did the fishes' appetite and my desire to keep walking around in water with wet fly line.

So I put my fishing gear away and just went for a good 2-3 mile walk on the road which was nestled in a nice deep valley.

Came back to watch the dismantling of...checks notes...Houston, and now just basking in it and watching the last couple of championship games.

That's a good day, right?

After the Pacers tweet of Tyrese showing up for his game in his leather whirly-bird jacket, I realized he was playing during the pummeling of Houston. Wonder if a fan behind the bench would be giving him updates.

I saw a guy in Hawkeye shirt at Bass Pro Shop. I thought about wishing him good luck in the NIT but I figured he might not realize it was a dig.
Most of them are Clark fans anyway. My sister's fiance's family had friends from Iowa visit a while ago for his sister's senior night and one of them was saying that's he only watches the women's games.

At a funeral yesterday. At the cemetery they had us recite the apostles creed. You know how the group finds that speed that everyone goes? Not the loudest dude. It was like he listened to us and repeated. Everyone stopped halfway through and paused to have him catch up. Didn’t work.

Then we had a song on a sheet with random versus of it we were singing. Dude didn’t get a sheet apparently and when we went verse one to three (skipping 2) he sang 2 as loud as possibly. I guess he knows the whole song. So after the second verse we all just quit due to him.

Typical. Most Hawks seem to be bandwagon fans.
Oof. Don't get me started with the "young'in" I eat lunch with. (She turns 30 this summer) She wasn't aware conference tournaments were a thing.

And once again, down in KC. Everywhere you went, there was a Schmuckeye shirt, whether it was a generic shirt or a Caitlin Clark type shirt. Why? Why do you feel you need to wear that when the in-state rival is in town?
