I never realized how dysfunctional the whole industry is until I got sick.

"You need to get an MRI"
"I got one last week with the radiologist"
"Oh, we can use that one"
"I assume you two "shared notes" since you were in the same building"
"Unfortunately, No"

This happened at least twice.

I'm very happy with the care they provided, but their system coordination is not good.

A favorite one recently is calling in to schedule some PT stuff. The call person was kind of weird anyway but then just kind of belligerent in telling me there were hardly any openings and found one like two months out.
Then after a visit, the front desk person in the office finds more openings than I can count.

Makes me think going into the PT office to schedule in person might be the best bet.

We see several specialists within the clinic we use; we advocate on our own. They are pretty good about coordinating care, but sometimes they miss things. They have a lot of patient overlap; they don't always know who you saw recently, or who you are seeing next week.

Is that McLintock! ?
The Rare Breed. Jimmy Stweart, Brian Keith, Maureen O'Hara...
It's about an English widow and her daughter introducing a Hereford bull to a cattle ranch owned by Brian Keith. The bull escapes the train at the station and Stewart leaps in to save the day by bulldogging him...but he's a polled Hereford. No horns. :D

Just replaced the torsion spring on my garage door. Wife closed it last night and I thougth we were under attack from all the noise when the spring broke. Door was new in 2003 and this is the second replacement.

I tried to monkey with that when I replaced the wires on the sides. I realized real quick I didn't have a clue how to do it so I called Overhead Door. He had it done in less than 15 minutes.

I'm pretty sure that is one of those things that is pretty dangerous to try to replace without knowing the ins and outs

Whole town has been without internet, tv, and phone since 9am. Apparently a fiber optic line was cut somewhere. I'm told the entire line has to be replaced it can't be spliced. Wouldn't want to get that bill.

You do it yourself? I’ve heard horror stories so paid to have mine done this summer. Normally I’m a do it yourselfer to a fault. Feel like I have to turn my mancard in anytime I pay to have work done.
