I am reveling in the peace and quiet of watching a streaming show with Lew and the oldest granddaughter. Bliss!

Well LilWxs team keeps finding ways to win and is on to the semifinal in the morning. He even recorded his first official hits of the season today. Was happy to get our two games done by 2 and back to the hotel in the a/c. He has noticed that he isn’t playing in the field much right now (and when he does it is right field) so we will have the conversation with him.

My wife and I took a walk around 6:30 this morning. We saw about 6-8 hot air balloons go over us just above the tree line in Urbandale. Not sure what was going on this morning or where they were landing, but it was a cool sight to see.

When I was in Little League I didn't really know the game - never watched it and was just learning to play it. I didn't even know I was put in RF to hide me. Didn't know there was a hierarchy in the OF.

I was blissfully ignorant.
